THE RAUNCH is a morality play about Getting Away With It !!
It's punk panto cabaret circus western pastiche on acid, designed to entertain you to the tips of your snake skin boots.
Set in a high tech, animated, landscape of sweeping desert plains and frontier towns, dressed in a cowboy aesthetic, The Raunch, examines the cultural myth of the Western, focusing on individualism and opportunism.
In these times of escalating violence on a global scale, the morally questionable world of the classic western, is a neat framework to explore a reality in which the heroes and the villains are near indistinguishable and the desire for revenge must be weighed against the cost of a never ending cycle of retaliation.
We hope that The Raunch provokes as much as it entertains and leaves you with less answers and better questions.
